Bear Lake

So for the last few years I have wanted to take my kids to Bear Lake. It seems like we just never really had the time. So one day I decided that tomorrow we were going. I called and made the non-refundable reservation on a whim. Turns out that my husband was unable to go those days(in all fairness I didn't give him much notice) so we were just going to go without him. Luckily for us Grandma and Grandpa were free so they came. We stayed in this cute little cabin at the KOA campground and had lots of fun.

They had this really great sandy beach the water was warm, we had a day without rain(kind of unusual this summer). It was really nice that you could pull your car right on the beach and unload your stuff.

Here we have Grandpa just relaxing in his chair!

(Tyson with Nick and Grandma)

We spent the whole day playing in the water and making sandcastles

There were seagulls all over the beach looking for some food Lacey and Tyson thought is was fun to chase after them and try to feed them.

There were also these little shells all over the beach, we collected a bunch of them and spelled out our name.

The second night we were there we were lucky enough that Dad was able to arrange his schedule so that he could come spend the night with us. (thanks dear)The cabin we stayed in had this great swing on the porch. Here is all the kids swinging.
