I am not so sure I should be posting this. I don't know if I want it to be remembered. However I kinda do want my kids to remember that I tried to be a dog person once.
So here it goes. For a few years now my kids ask me about once a month if we can get a dog. I almost always say no or mabey when you are older. I don't know what got into me, mabey it was the holiday spirit or something. One day when they asked me "Can we get a dog please" I said mabey that would be a good idea and started looking online for a dog. A few days later Doug brought home Maggie, a 8 week old 2 pound tiny puppie.

I know as you look at these pictures you think ohh! That is such a cute puppie, and she is a cute puppie. The kids loved her. So I tried really really hard to be a dog person. I did I promise. No matter how hard I tried I just could not enjoy being a dog owner. I felt bad locking her in her crate when we left, I felt like I had to entertain the puppy all the time and, don't even get me started on potty training. I don't even like to potty train my kids. So anyway after a little less than 2 weeks we sold her. I am sorry kids I hope some day you will at least remember that I tried.
